After 14 Months Capitol Hill Books Reopening to General Public June 1st

Fantastic news from Capitol Hill Books (657 C Street, SE):

“Announcement: After 14 months of appointment only browsing, we will re-open to the general public on June 1st.

Thanks to everyone who helped us survive the past 14 months.

Times were hard and we erred on the conservative side w regard to COVID. But happy to say we didn’t have to lay off anyone and none of our employees ever got COVID. That was only possible because ppl ordered grab bags from us. Thank you, again.

Also, our employees have worked their asses off to make sure we did not go gently into that good night.”
