Today’s Rental was chosen for the balcony

This rental is located at 216 Maryland Avenue near 2nd Street NE. The Craigslist ad says:

“$2,100 / 2br – 725ft2 – Two Bedroom Apartment in Historic Capitol Hill Building (Capitol Hill near the US Senate)

Available June 1st. We have two nearly identical apartments coming available… one on the 4th floor and one on the 2nd floor.

Unbeatable location… one block from Supreme Court and Senate Office Buildings, short walk to Union Station and National Mall. Live in the heart of Capitol Hill, but easy access to the larger area (Eastern Market, H Street, Union Market) and to the city as a whole. Walkable to red, blue, and orange line metro stops.

Two bedroom, one bathroom apartment with high ceilings and period details. Wood floors, steam radiators, and huge windows. Small kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge, and access to a small private balcony (perfect for a grill). Tenants only pay electric and any cable/wi fi options they choose. Landlord pays heat, water/sewer, gas.

Our standard leases are one year leases, but we can do as short as three months at a slightly higher rate. Cats allowed (sorry no other pets at this location). Non smoking building.

These apartments are occupied, so in-person showings may be limited until the current tenants move out.”
