Fainting Goat “launched a new gourmet picnic delivery pop-up”

From Fainting Goat:

“As DC heads into prime picnic season, The Fainting Goat from the Blagden Hospitality Group (Tiger Fork, Calico, Hei Hei Tiger, Hi-Lawn) launched a new gourmet picnic delivery pop-up – “Picnics at Logan Circle”. The popular neighborhood tavern will deliver curated picnic baskets, snack packs and s’mores kits to guests in its neighboring Logan Circle via bicycle, throughout spring and summer.

Logan Circle is one of the city’s most popular picnic destinations, and now, The Fainting Goat is bringing complete picnics straight to the nearby park — blanket, snacks, drinks and serveware included! Located just a few blocks away at 13th & U Streets NW, the Goat staff will be riding around on its new blue delivery bicycle, passing out QR code menus and dropping off gourmet picnics to park revelers.

Culinary director/partner Nathan Beauchamp and Chef Sam George have curated a variety of curated picnic packages for groups of up to 6, including:

Picnic Basket for 2 ($75) — upscale lunchable, fried chicken, potato salad, house pickles, chocolate ganache cheesecake, bottle of sparkling wine or rosé
Snack Pack ($45) — hummus + pita, salsa + chips, chips + onion dip, 4-pack of adult juice boxes
Party Pack for 6 ($125) — hoagie (ham, capicola, mortadella, sharp provolone, finocchio, cherry pepper spread), fried chicken, hummus + pita, chips + onion dip, 12-pack of adult juice boxes
S’mores Kit ($30) — metal lunchbox, sterno, marshmallows, graham crackers, skewers, chocolate bars, matches, ‘fire extinguisher’

All curated Picnic Packs come with Goat-branded cooler bags, plus a picnic blanket, and plates/cups/utensils.

Other beverage options include 4-packs of its frozen Piña Coladas ($50), 4-packs of its popular Adult Juice Boxes in flavors such as rum punch, lavender gin lemonade, margarita and whiskey sour ($32), 12-packs of beer or spiked seltzer in branded cooler bags on ice ($30), Large-Format Pouch Cocktails including 750ml Aperol Spritzes and Moscow Mules ($30), branded Thermos Cocktails filled with either mojitos, daiquiris or palomas ($30), and branded flasks filled with various spirits ($30).

The Fainting Goat staff will regularly distribute QR code menus in the circle, and customers can simply scan the code and order online through GoTab. Customers can also pre-order their picnic necessities on the restaurant’s website.

The Fainting Goat’s new picnic pop-up is replacing its extremely popular winter “No Soup For You” pop-up, which offered comforting soups and stews through the cold months.

“Picnics at Logan Circle” will be available for delivery every Wednesday-Sunday from 12pm-9pm. Picnics will also be available for pick-up from the restaurant, with a 10% discount! The menu is available here.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
