“basic row house yard maintenance?”

“Dear PoPville,

What’s the best way of keeping up with basic row house yard maintenance? My partner and I moved from an apartment to a row house with a postage stamp-sized front yard last winter. The grass is finally growing again–and it’s growing fast. How do most folks in basic row houses keep up with basic, no frills lawn maintenance?

I looked on Task Rabbit to hire someone to cut the lawn, but they all look like they specialize in large yards/real landscaping and are priced accordingly. Should we buy a weed wacker and use that for the front yard? Buying a lawnmower seems like major overkill, plus would present a storage issue. Do readers have favorite lawn care companies or handymen who do these kinds of small job? If it matters, we live in Trinidad.”
