“The District’s reported data for Thursday, April 8, 2021 includes 136 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 45,634.

The District reported that two additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.

Tragically, 1,079 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.
