“Dear PoPville,
During COVID I spent several months sheltering in place at my parents house in a much warmer climate and was able to get back into one of my favorite hobbies: playing tennis.
Since I’ve been living in DC for the past 4 years, I haven’t played much. All I’ve done is take lessons at Rock Creek Tennis Center, but I didn’t really have any friends or contacts to hit around with or do any type of match play, either social or competitive.
As the weather warms back up again, I’m hoping for some thoughts from the PoPville community on how to get into playing more regularly here in DC, since getting to do social match play a few times a week has been the highlight of this past year for me. Any groups, clubs, opportunities to play doubles, etc.?“
