Dauphine’s, “New Orleans-inspired restaurant”, Opening this Spring!

15th and L Street, NW

From an email:

Dauphine’s, the New Orleans-inspired restaurant is opening this spring from Long Shot Hospitality, the team behind The Salt Line!

Set to open in late spring 2021 in downtown D.C.’s Midtown Center, the restaurant is led by critically acclaimed Chef Kristen Essig.

At Dauphine’s, Chef Essig will feature a menu that pays homage to the diverse cultural influences and rich culinary traditions of New Orleans, a city she called home for over two decades. Chef Essig will work closely with Long Shot Hospitality Chef/Partner Kyle Bailey to utilize Mid-Atlantic ingredients to prepare classic Louisiana fare while also creating original dishes inspired by the city of New Orleans. The Dauphine’s beverage program is developed in partnership with New Orleans native Neal Bodenheimer – owner of Cure, the 2018 James Beard Foundation Award winner for Outstanding Bar Program – and will offer innovative riffs on New Orleans classics.

The expansive 145-seat restaurant and its additional 4,000 square feet of outdoor dining space for 110 guests, was designed by Grizform Design Architects. Design features include a custom raw bar and wood charcuterie case, a double-height wrought-iron pavilion surrounded by lush greenery that links the dining room and bar area, and a custom New Orleans-inspired tiled fountain.”

STAY TUNED.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
