“The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the District of Columbia, which is in effect from 7PM this evening until 10AM on Thursday, February 11, 2021.

What: Snow, possibly mixed with sleet and rain at times. Total snow accumulations of a coating to 2 inches are expected near and south of Interstate 66 and Highway 50 where a mix with sleet and rain is possible. 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected over the far northwestern suburbs of Washington DC.

Where: The District of Columbia, and portions of central and southern Maryland, central and northern Virginia, and the
eastern panhandle of West Virginia.

When: From 7 PM this evening until 10AM on Thursday, February 11, 2021.

Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.”
