“The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for the District of Columbia, which is in effect from 7PM this evening until 7AM on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
What: Two to three tenths of an inch of sleet and freezing rain causing significant icing impacts.
Where: The District of Columbia, and portions of central and southern Maryland, central and northern Virginia.
When: Until 7AM on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
Impacts: Difficult travel conditions
Additional Details: Roadways are becoming very icy and dangerous. Avoid all unnecessary travel.”
