From the Mayor’s Office:

“The District’s reported data for Wednesday, February 24, 2021 includes 179 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 40,122.

The District reported that four additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.

66-year-old male
69-year-old female
86-year-old female

Tragically, 1005 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.
