MPD reported: “The Third District is currently investigating a shooting in the area of 2nd and W Streets NW. A juvenile male has been transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the face.

At this time, the preliminary lookout is for a white sedan that fled the area.

Motorists and pedestrians can expect road closures in the area as we investigate.

Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099.”
