Hold Up, Rodman’s Has a Cafe?!? Excellent, it’s now open.

5100 Wisconsin Ave, NW

Rodman’s website says:

“Our new Café is open and ready to serve! With our fine selection of Coffees Teas, and Pastries we’ve got the morning fuel you need! Come on in through the store or our new entrance off Wisconsin Ave.”

For those unfamiliar with Rodman’s – it’s pretty much the greatest store in the District of Columbia.

Wisconsin at Garrison St, NW

“Since 1955 Rodman’s has been serving the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area with the highest quality groceries at the lowest prices. Family owned and operated, our little drugstore has grown into the Rodman’s we all know and love today.

Over the years, the Rodman’s corner drugstore has evolved into an international marketplace. The storefront is filled with obscure and exotic foods, an incredible selection of beer & wine, housewares, the finest European chocolates, body care products, and so much more! We have evolved from a simple pharmacy into one of DC’s most reputable home healthcare departments. Rodman’s is the one-stop-shop to get your watch repaired, buy a new blender, and fill your prescription, all the while, completing your grocery list.

We believe in putting value back into the hands of the consumer. This is an independently owned, 3rd generation run, family business that will always put individualized customer care and service first.”

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
