Across the Pond could use some love – check out their Holiday Deals and other ways to help

1732 Connecticut Avenue, NW

Lots of folks have passed on the request from Across the Pond:

“The COVID Roller Coaster Continues…

For the past nine months, our goal has been to hang on until next spring. The return of conferences, sports and tourists, along with promising news on vaccines, gave us hope.

But like so many other DC restaurants, we’re a bit worried. Recent spikes have impacted on-premise dining; cold weather is hampering outdoor dining; some of our local customers have temporarily relocated; or in some cases, just aren’t aware that we’re open.

We are lucky, we have very understanding landlords, they want to see us hang on…and that makes us want to keep going. For them, for our customers, for our staff and for us…we’ve given all we’ve had.

So if you’re in any position to help, here are some suggestions:

Share our social media posts, emails, and this letter with your friends, colleagues and neighbors.

Purchase gift certificates and t-shirts: visit our online store.

Purchase our new “ATP Holiday Deals”: click here!

Order carryout: visit our online store.

Order delivery through DoorDash, UberEats, DC To-GoGo or GrubHub.

Dine indoors or outside, if you feel comfortable doing so. We show all NFL and college football/basketball games; Premier League, Champions League & La Liga; and Autumn Nations Cup rugby matches. Watch TV outdoors on our back patio.

We had a strong October, and were feeling optimistic. But the recent spikes and restrictions announced by the Mayor, coupled with dips in sales over the past two weeks, have dampened that optimism.

We are NOT giving up. We plan to enjoy some pints with you this spring…but we just need a little boost right now.

Also from Across the Pond:
