“Where to buy Christmas trees?” (Part Two)

“Dear PoPville,

Do you have any leads on where to buy Christmas trees this year? I’m guessing the big box stores will have their normal sales, but I’m hoping to find somewhere local where at least part of the purchase price goes back to a community cause.”

From The Salt Line:

“8th Annual Christmas Tree Lot benefitting The DC Firefighters Burn Foundation. Holiday shoppers may relax and rejoice, as TSL will open early to coincide with the 12PM Grand Opening on Friday, November 27, 2020. And, mark Saturday, December 5, 2020 [10AM-12PM] on the calendar for a day of family fun as the countdown to Christmas continues – DC firefighters will be visiting TSL and sharing an opportunity for kids to check out a fire truck, a Christmas wish for many now coming true!

The TSL Christmas Tree Lot shares a special selection of freshly cut seasonal trees ranging in all sizes and shapes, from tiny table-toppers to towering tall at 12-feet. Shoppers can browse the selection virtually or stop by The Salt Line to soak in the sights of the gleaming greens in-person. A one-stop-shop for holiday decorating, make it merry and bright with decorative wreaths, garlands, tree stands, and collectible ornaments from the Burn Foundation, all available to purchase. Exchange yuletide greetings on the heated outdoor patio with a complimentary hot cocktail from The Salt Line following the purchase of any tree.

The DC Firefighters Burn Foundation is dedicated to assisting in the recovery and rehabilitation of injured firefighters and burn patients in the D.C. Metropolitan Area – supporting burn research, treatment, and rehabilitation programs at Washington Hospital Center as well as the Children’s Burn Camp Program.

The Salt Line Christmas Tree Lot will remain open until all of the trees have been purchased. Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday from 4-9PM, and Saturday – Sunday 10AM-9PM.
