via FB “Raising money for families displaced by house fire at 1st Place NE”
Thanks to Daria for sharing the fundraiser:
“Several of my dear friends including and their 4 year old daughter, as well as our amazing friend Tony have been displaced by the large fire that took place early on Friday morning at 1st Pl NE. Giselle, who is an incredible friend and pediatric PT (and known as Gafanhota to her capoeira community), had to jump from a 3rd story window and suffered a broken pelvis, vertebrae, and arm. Both the Green family and Tony have been displaced by this event and are without the vast majority of their belongings due to smoke damage. We’re raising money to help them out as many expenses as possible over the coming months.”
This intentional act led to significant injuries to 1 resident, the death of a pet dog, and left 16 people homeless.
