The Sherman Ave. testing site opened at 3:00 yesterday (Monday) and by the time I got there around 3:30, the line had stretched around probably 4 small blocks. All told, I had to wait about 90 minutes for a test. The line was comparable in length (possibly even longer) to what we saw when testing first became available
in June, but I do think that it moved faster because of pre-registration. I also heard that the wait time was similar at Judiciary Square yesterday morning. Seems like folks are getting in a test before they travel for the holidays. Would be curious to hear about people’s wait time/experiences at testing sites this week as well as when they end up getting their results, there could possibly be a delay in results due to overcapacity.”
