From a press release:
“The Stay Inn DC: Delivering quality food to you when it is best for you to stay in.
Starting tomorrow, November 3rd, the team behind Moreland’s Tavern is excited to launch our latest concept – The Stay Inn DC. We understand that we cannot bring the entire Moreland’s Tavern experience to you; however, we can try to help by delivering some of your favorite foods to you when the weather is just not pleasant enough to motivate you to leave your house.
Our new concept, The Stay Inn, will have a menu that includes salads, appetizers, sandwiches, desserts and even beer and wine.
All menu items will be for delivery only. We will be using services such as Uber Eats and Grubhub to handle the driving for us while we focus on the cooking! Our menu will be designed by Chef Emily Baran and cooked by the same staff that has been cooking for the neighborhood since we opened three years ago.
For those of you that are in walking distance to us, we will still be offering our full Moreland’s Tavern menu for pick up via the Toast app. This includes all our entrees and house cocktails. We will also have select seating upstairs, and hopefully heaters on our patios soon enough.
To begin, we will be operating The Stay Inn six days a week: Tuesday through Friday for dinner, and Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner.
We look forward to bringing some our food to your home this winter!
So on November 3rd, vote and Stay Inn!
Hours of operations:
Tuesday – Thursday 4pm-8pm
