“One More Plate, Inc. (OMP) was founded on April 1st to provide those experiencing homelessness in Washington, D.C. with more food security during the COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning with just one plate in DuPont Circle, One More Plate has since delivered over 9,000 “plates” that consist of hot meals, water, juice, fruit, and a snack along a 13-stop route across greater DC.
They’ve covered a lot of ground in our short existence, but our Crusade Against Hunger continues. As we head into these winter months, One More Plate is seeking strong support to assist in increasing their meal production and outfitting their distribution model for the harsh winter.
Recently, One More Plate launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to support the expansion and winterization of their efforts.”
