From El Techo (606 Florida Avenue, NW):

“Beginning tomorrow, El Techo is partnering with a local restaurant and a mutual aid group in Honduras to raise funds and collect critical supplies for communities affected by Hurricane Eta. From November 14-28, one dollar from every cucumber mojito sold at the rooftop restaurant will be donated to assist in purchasing much-needed items. In addition, guests will receive $1 off a drink in exchange for a donation of a piece of clothing, pair of shoes or other necessities such as towels or blankets to be sent directly to the mutual aid organization in Honduras.

On November 3rd, Category 4 Hurricane Eta slammed into several Central American countries resulting in flooding, food shortages, the displacement of communities and many lives lost. Kevin Banegas, a native Honduran and El Techo’s head bartender, is spearheading the effort to support those impacted in his home country. El Techo is partnering with local Honduran restaurant Benito’s Place and grassroots Honduran mutual aid group Dentro Desde Honduras to purchase much-needed supplies for the devastated communities of the country.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
