Today’s Rental was picked for the balcony

This rental is located at 3rd St. NE near H St. NE. The Craigslist ad says:

“$1,175 / 2br – Bedroom available in 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom luxury apartment (Capitol Hill, H St Corridor, NOMA)

Hi there! I have my second bedroom available in a 1200sqft apartment in the Senate Square complex: www.senatesquaretowers.com. I am looking for a roommate in their 20s/30s interested in signing a sub-lease agreement on a 12 month lease that runs through July 20. Hoping, but no pressure, they will re-sign with me in the spring when the lease renewal comes up. I’ve lived in this building for 7 years and can’t say enough good things about it. This is such a great deal and hard to find anywhere else in DC for this price!

Room: The available bedroom is 13ftx8ft (considered a den since it has no windows) with its own private, large bathroom next to it as well as sole use of the coat closet adjacent to it. The room currently fits a queen bed, nightstand, dresser, and desk.

Apartment: Second floor, modern, stainless steel appliances, open kitchen concept, plenty of extra storage space, washer/dryer in unit, balcony, common space is furnished (but open to swapping out some items and adding things together).

Amenities: Beautiful rooftop pool with views of the monuments, two separate rooftop areas to hangout and grill, dog park, community garden, movie theater, club room, up-to-date gym, parking garage, business center, package room, 24 hour concierge and incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The Senate Square complex is composed of three buildings and feels like a small gated community. It is very safe and secure.

Location: Just a 5 minute walk to Union Station (metro, buses, Amtrak). Located at the start of the H Street Corridor where the trolley begins, across the street from Giant, close to NOMA, Capitol Hill, Chinatown and Union Market. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Walmart are also all in walking distance.

Price: Bedroom base rent is $1,175 not including utilities. Price of water, sewer and electric is on average $100/person each month. There is a $75 one-time application fee and no additional deposit is required. If you have a car you’d like to park in the garage, it is an additional $175/month, or street parking is plentiful.

Roommate: I am a female professional in their early 30s, working remotely for the time being and hoping to find a responsible, respectful, person to share my space with. Please reach out if you are interested or have questions!”
