Missed Connection – Musician at the Park

“Dear PoPville,

I’m looking for the musician at Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park!

I was going up the middle, main stairs at the park and all the way at the top as you make a right, there was a handsome guy sitting on a bench putting away his music gear. He had a guitar and a small speaker next to him so I think he had been playing earlier. There was eye contact and a smile, but I’m not good in these situations so my smile back was likely lame. About 10 minutes later I had another opportunity as he walked past me again with his gear all packed up, but I panicked, looked away and down at my phone.

If you are the guy who was wearing all black and putting your music gear away at Meridian Hill/Malcolm X park on Sunday around 4pm can you play next Sunday same time and I’ll look for you? I’ll say hi this time!

In case you remember, I have long, brown hair..had sunglasses and was wearing all black too. I’d love to hear you play.”

Ed. Note: If this is you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, some have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
