DC Food Project partners with DC Central Kitchen re-launched Emergency Weekend Bag Program – Help Ensure the program continues into 2021 if you can

“Dear PoPville,

We just re-launched our Emergency Weekend Bag Program this past Friday, this time serving nearly 700 families across several DC public schools. While many grab-and-go sites across the city are open to anyone, our team has worked closely with school administrators and staff to identify kids and families who most need this support, and then invite them to pick-up the bags at designated times at specific, convenient sites these families know and trust.

BIG UPDATE is that we have partnered with DC Central Kitchen! Their operations will allow us to scale our efforts as the demand continues to grow (More Info Here)

But we need help — we have secured enough funding to keep going through the end of 2020 — but we know the need will still be there as the new year (oh 2021, please bring us good news!) rolls around… We know the ripple effects of this pandemic are far from over. Our Donation Page is here — all funds raised go directly to purchasing food.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
