Yesterday an ANC Rep asked MPD: “Can you share any information on the sounds of gunfire or shots fired around the 300 block of Delafield on September 5, 2020 around 10pm.”

An MPD Captain replied:

“On Saturday September 5, 2020, at approximately 10:00pm, Fourth District units responded to the 4800 block of 4th ST NW, in reference to a call for sounds gunshots. Upon their arrival they located several shell casing and 1 damaged vehicle. There were no reported injuries at the time.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call MPD on 202-727-9099.”

Last night a reader tweeted us at 12:52 AM (technically Wed. morning):

Over 15 shots just heard around 5th and Delafield NW”

Updates when/if more is known about that incident.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
