Terrible News from Tenleytown – “September 27th, we will be closing our doors indefinitely.”

4624 Wisconsin Ave, NW

Kitty O’Shea’s shares the terrible news:

“Kitty O’Shea’s has been proudly serving Tenleytown for the past 9 years. Unfortunately, as of September 27th, we will be closing our doors indefinitely.

We are thankful for the small community that has embraced and supported us over the years, as well as our current and former staff who gave their blood sweat and tears to make this place work. We are forever in your debt and we truly love you all. We look forward to making the best of these last few weeks with the people who have made our small watering hole the special place that it is. Thank you all, and remember to wear your mask, even when we are no longer around to remind you!”

Ed. Note: I’m sure lots of folks haven’t heard of Kitty’s but it was one of the best “regular” bars in the District. No frills, good pub food, but most importantly good people. They will be missed deeply. It is retail/restaurants losses like these that are the most painful.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
