“On 8/18/20 at approximately 12:55 am, First District officers responded to the area of 13th Street NE and D Street NE for the sounds of gunshots. A juvenile male victim was located with a gunshot wound to the arm. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

There is no usable suspect description at this time.

First District detectives are actively investigating this incident. Should any member of the public have information regarding the shooting, please contact the First District Detectives office at (202) 299-2025, or the Metropolitan Police Department’s Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099.”

“On 8/17/20 at approximately 10:09 pm, First District officers responded to the intersection of 3rd Street SW and M Street SW for the sounds of gunshots. On the scene, officers found two adult male victims. Both men were suffering from gunshot wounds to the body and transported to area hospitals. There is no usable suspect description at this time.

First District detectives are actively investigating this incident. Should any member of the public have information regarding the shooting, please contact the First District Detectives office at (202) 299-2025, or the Metropolitan Police Department’s Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099.”
