From the Mayor’s Office:

“The District’s reported data for Thursday, May 28, 2020 includes 46 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 8,538.

The District reported seven additional COVID-19 related deaths.

· 60-year-old female
· 64-year-old male
· 67-year-old female
· 81-year-old female
· 83-year-old female
· 86-year-old male
· 90-year-old female

Tragically, 460 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

The District experienced a drop in testing over the Memorial Day weekend. Therefore, the District’s count of sustained decrease in community spread has paused while that data is under review. That review is represented in the chart below.”
