Washington, DC

From Mayor Bowser:

“I want to clarify: the virus is still around us. The public health emergency will continue and gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited despite lifting the stay-at-home order this Friday.”

“Effective Friday: nonessential retail businesses can operate with curbside, front-door or delivery.”

“Barbershops and hair salons will be able to operate by appointment only and with stations at least six feet apart.”

“In addition to takeout, delivery, and grab and go, restaurants with outdoor seating can begin using that space.”

“Dog parks, golf courses, parks, tennis courts and tracks and fields will be allowed to reopen.”

“Health care providers may continue to offer or resume offering elective surgeries.”
