Kim and others reported around 5:45am: “huge police response at corner of RIA and Eastern Ave in NE DC. Easily 40 emergency vehicles w helicopter circling overhead. Any idea what this is?”
Katie reports: “Carjacking in Fort Totten that ended up on a chase through DC and into MD. 3 out of the 4 suspects were caught in Mount Rainier. Apparently Rhode Island Avenue was/is closed for continued investigation (a DC police cruiser crashed during the chase)”
