Her: fit, outdoorsy brunette, dark fleece jacket, white tote bag, grey and purple workout pants, cream-colored low-top Converse All-Stars
Me: beard, Nats hat, blue shirt, jeans and Sauconys, using a Dutch tea towel as a face mask
We stood in line together and exchanged a few glances. She seemed to be as interested in chatting as I was, but how is making a move not super awkward when we’re forced to stand 6′ apart and cover our faces?
