“Important News for This Weekend’s (Farmers) Markets”

From FRESHFARM:

“We are now wrapping up week four since so much of the world has changed, and our market team and farmers and producers continue to adapt every day. Earlier this week, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser issued new orders requiring the implementation of social distancing protocols at retail food sellers, including grocery stores and farmers markets. We have applied for waivers for each of our DC markets and are pleased to announce that Monroe Street, H Street NE, Columbia Heights, and Dupont have all been approved to operate this weekend! We will continue to work closely with the Mayor’s office to ensure that our farmers markets can be in compliance with the new regulations. Stay tuned for additional announcements on social media and our website.

At ALL of our markets, we ask that shoppers please follow these rules:

  • Wear a mask or face covering (info here on how to use a mask safely).
  • Be symptom free – DO NOT come to market if you are sick.
  • Plan to wait in line to enter (even if you pre-ordered).
  • Maintain 6 feet of distance from shoppers and vendors.
  • Shop quickly and with no more than 1-2 members of your household.
  • No pets allowed.

Thank you for your patience and ongoing support of the markets, and be safe out there!

Markets are open rain or shine.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
