Brendan writes: “yesterday they took down the Christmas Tree in Columbia Heights, and it is just laying on its side in the plaza…any bets on when they actually cart it off? Reminder that last year, it was around February 1”
And because it’s 2020, I got an email this morning, preemptively, responding to Brendan’s concerns:
“District Bridges broke it down on Thursday and I wanted to share with you that it has been scheduled for pick-up by DPW for composting. They are picking up the fence today and the tree will be picked up either the 15th-16th”
