Update from MPD:
“The Third District is currently investigating the sounds of gunshots at 12th and M St NW. There is some minor property damage reported.
Motorists and pedestrians may experience some delays in the area as we continue to investigate this incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099.”
Mathew asked at 5:20pm:
“Any word what’s happening on M Street between 12th and 13th? Police have the whole block cordoned off.”
Jake replied: “five or six gunshots.”
