“Tuesday, December 10th, Franklin Hall is hosting their first annual Gingerbread House Competition benefiting the Capital Area Food Bank. Great Lakes Brewing Company and Bell’s Brewing Company are donating Gingerbread House Kits for the participants in exchange for a non-perishable food item to donate to the Capital Area Food Bank.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes and houses will be judged by reps from each brewery and one staff member from Franklin Hall. While the basic kits will be provided, teams are encouraged to bring in their own materials as well to really impress the judges. Creativity is encouraged.
Franklin Hall is located at 1348 Florida Ave, NW Washington DC 20009.”
