Today’s Rental was picked for the dog

This rental/roommate search is located at 2323 Sherman Avenue, NW. The Craigslist ad says:

“$1750 / 2br – 955ft2 – One Bedroom Open in 2/2 Apartment

Looking for a roommate to sign a new lease with at my current apartment in the Trellis House. My current roommate of the past 3 years (Tricia, we lived together in two different places) is moving on, so I’m hopeful of finding somebody new to share this apartment with (also open to other places)!

It’s a 2/2 corner apartment with a large private deck. Rent will be about $1750 + utilities for a 13 month lease (with one month free taken into account on rent cost). The building has a pool, gym, concierge, etc…

A little about me is that I’m a 31 year old DC native that works in policy, has hours pretty close to 9-5, and come packaged with a 1.5 year old, 65ish pounds, extremely loving, sweet, and fun Bernedoodle, Rufus! He’s really well behaved, gets the run of the apartment with no troubles ever, and doesn’t shed. I don’t expect any potential roommate of mine to take care of him for me in any way, he’s solely my responsibility unless you want to help out! Though obviously you should be a fan of dogs because he’ll always be around.

I’m also open to other places that are a little less expensive like the Arcade Sunshine building up in the Park View area. They have 2/2s that would be about $1600/month/person that are nice.

If any of this sounds good please reach out to me and we can go from there. Thanks!”
