“Curious if anyone has heard of this new local DC business and what they think?”

“I recently passed this hidden “wellness space” tucked away inside this row home. Looking at their website, I love their motto and definitely interested in trying it out. Haven’t seen a place like this yet in DC and been looking for one for a while. Curious if anyone has heard of this new local DC business and what they think?”

The Glow Club’s website says:

“We offer ambitious humans a place to strengthen their most valuable asset: their mind. At The Glow Club, you’ll meet other like-minded self-starters through guided meditation classes made to address the realities faced every day. You’ll also get access to wellness and business-related events, as well as first dibs on up-and-coming wellness brands, pop-ups and more.

Results happen from focusing on yourself — and meditation is one of the most effective ways to feel those results.
WITH REGULAR VISITS TO THE GLOW CLUB, YOU’LL HAVE:

A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON STRESS AND STRESSFUL SITUATIONS
Increasing self-awareness
A Focus on the present
A ReducTION IN emotionAL responses
HEIGHTENED decision-making skills
A BOOST IN YOUR relationships
A Better sex life. yeah, that’s for real.

Sure, meditation can include this, but we think of it differently. The Glow Club is an exercise studio that provides active training of the mind — your most important asset — yet, an often neglected muscle.

We’re offering a space with the most creative instructors and access to classes that provide the unique ability to clear away information overload that contributes to stress. The Glow Club meditation can be done anywhere, at any time, with minimal effort and the person next to you doesn’t even have to know you’re doing it. Kind of like kegels, for your soul.”

There’s a reason Well-Paid Maids has hundreds of positive reviews from happy clients.

The home cleaning company pays cleaners — who are W-2 employees — a living wage starting at $24 an hour. Plus, cleaners are offered benefits, including insurance, 24 paid days off a year, 100% employer-paid commuting costs and more.

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, said it best: “People deserve their work to be respected and recognized. When that happens, you love what you do, and you create the best results.”
