Update: Two Juveniles Shot around 8:35pm. Shooting in Woodley Park not far from the Zoo

A reader reports at 8:40pm:

“3-4 guns shots off Connecticut Avenue NW at the corner of Cathedral Avenue and Connecticut”

From MPD around 9:36pm:

“Alert: Shooting, Connecticut Ave & Cathedral Ave NW, No usable lookout at this time.”

UPDATE from MPD:

“On Saturday, November 30th, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Second District Officers were in the 2800 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW, when they heard the sound of gunshots. Shortly thereafter, Officers located a juvenile male, in the same block, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Approximately 30 minutes later, another juvenile male was located in the 1900 block of Calvert Street, NW, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Both of the juvenile males were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no lookout on the suspect.

This incident is under investigation by the Second District Detectives. If anyone witnessed the shooting or if anyone has any information about the shooting, please call 202-727-9099 or text 50411
