With the holidays fast approaching, I am looking for local DC stores that sell unique, quirky gifts for white elephants, stocking stuffers and the like. We used to go to Home Rule for a lot of those fun, little things that bring smiles, but with them closing I’ve been on the hunt for a good replacement that is not World Market.
I know I can get anything and everything I want online, but I personally like the thrill of finding something that you never would have thought of, while also supporting our local DC stores. I know there are plenty of stores and markets that I just am not aware of, and I am hoping the community can point me in the right direction!”
