Random PoP Proclamation: If you are a Bar in D.C. and not Showing the World Series, You are Dead to me; Also Here are details on the World Series Watch Parties at Nationals Park

Seriously. There’s gotta be an OJ chase caliber event times 1000 (God forbid) to change my mind. Seriously.

But if bars aren’t your scene – these should be lit too – from the Nationals:

“For the first time in 86 years, a D.C. baseball team is in the World Series! Last night, the Nationals found out that they will be playing the Houston Astros in the Fall Classic, beginning with Game 1 on Tuesday, October 22 and Game 2 on Wednesday, October 23.

Even though the first two games will be played at Minute Maid Park in Houston, everyone in the DMV is invited to come out to a watch party at Nationals Park on both nights!

These events will be FREE for all fans! Fans will be able to watch the game live on the NatsHD scoreboard, food and drink will be available for purchase at select concession stands, and FREE parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the GEICO Garage and Garage C, starting at 6:30 p.m. both nights.

The general public is invited to watch the game from the seating bowl, and NATS PLUS members will be treated to special benefits, including Delta Sky360 Club, PNC Diamond Club, and Budweiser Brew House seating and free food and non-alcoholic beverages. Center Field Gates will open at 7:00 p.m. and first pitch is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. on Tuesday and 8:07 p.m. on Wednesday. Both games will be broadcast exclusively on FOX. Please note, the watch parties will be held rain or shine!

In order to claim free tickets to the watch parties, fans must visit nationals.com/WatchParty. NATS PLUS members will be required to claim their tickets in advance via their MyTickets account. All tickets will be delivered via the MLB Ballpark App free of charge.

Nationals fans are encouraged to wear red around Washington D.C. throughout the World Series and during the watch parties at Nationals Park!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
