“Sinister House, An African American Horror Story” coming to 14th and U St, NW

2013 14th Street, NW

From an email:

“On Thursday, October 24th, The Wave USA will unveil their “Sinister House, An African American Horror Story”, an interactive experience and pop up bar event at Red Lounge located at 2013 14th St NW. In celebration of Halloween, the pop-up bar will be available to the public from Thursday through Sunday for two weekends, highlighted by interactive experiences, Halloween installations, musical entertainment and a specially curated drink menu.

Brought to you by the creators of the internationally covered “Enter Wakanda” Pop Up Bar Experience that boasted over 5,000 attendees in only five days and earned 28 media hits including a full feature in Food and Wine Magazine, as well as the Washington Post.

In order to complete this experience, The Wave tapped into the talent of DC residents:

• Commissioned local artists to develop themed rooms.

• Commissioned local technicians to create unique installations.

• Featured a collection of local DJ’s to curate the music for the experience.

• Featured one of DC’s hidden gem black owned restaurants in the middle of the U Street corridor.

Tickets start at $5 during the day and $10 during DJ performances. Tickets will also be available at the door for an additional fee.

Tickets can be found at thewaveusa.com/sinisterhouse “
