Isha reported: “shooting at 8th & P St NW just after 2 PM today. Heard the gunshots. Quick emergency response & afaik, 1 victim transported to the hospital in ok shape. Don’t know anything else but whaaaat is happening”

“The Third District is currently investigating a shooting in the area of 8th Street and P Street NW. A juvenile female has been transported to an area hospital with a non life threatening injury to the lower extremities.

Motorists and pedestrians can expect road closures in the area.
