Great news from another reader:
“In case you weren’t already in the know, tenants of 1200 New Hampshire Ave NW were made aware yesterday that the space formerly occupied by Meiwah will be replaced by Boston-based Tatte Bakery & Café.
According to their site, DC will be their first opening outside of the Boston area. An announcement circulated on Monday also says the café is expected to deliver late Spring 2020.
With all day breakfast, bourekas, shakshuka, bagels and more… Tatte is a promising addition to the otherwise sleepy neighborhood.”
