Target in Tenleytown opening November 10th – Job Fair this Friday

Thanks to Sophy for sending an update on the Target coming to Tenleytown: “This is where Best Buy was.”

From Target:

“Target will celebrate the grand opening of its Tenleytown small-format store on Nov. 10, 2019 and has begun to hire a total of 80 team members to help deliver a great shopping experience for guests. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply at Target.com/careers ahead the job fair on Sept. 27. The hiring event will be held at the Tenley-Friendship Library (4450 Wisconsin Ave.). Store leaders will conduct interviews with applicants and discuss Target’s dynamic, team-oriented culture. Walk-ins are also welcome.

“As we continue to invest in our nation’s capital, we look forward to building talented teams across our new D.C. stores while providing meaningful opportunities for team members to build and develop valuable career skills. Our 80 new talented team members will help us serve local families and residents, college students and daily commuters across the D.C. metro area,” said Jason Ramey, D.C. district senior director, Target.

In addition to market-competitive wages, Target also offers various education benefits, such as tuition and GED reimbursement, to support team members’ continued learning as they build skills for a lifetime. This commitment to its team allows Target to continue to recruit and retain strong team members and provide an easy and inspiring experience for guests in the communities it serves.

The Tenleytown store, located at 4500 Wisconsin Avenue, marks Target’s eighth small-format store in the greater D.C. area.

Nationwide, Target has prioritized opening small-format stores to serve guests in urban areas, dense suburban neighborhoods and near college campuses – areas where a full-size Target typically wouldn’t fit.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
