“The First District is currently investigating a shooting which occurred on September 14, 2019 at 3:15am in the 1000 block of H Street NE. While investigating the sounds of gunfire in the area units located one adult victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area Hospital conscience and breathing. Once more information is available an update will follow. Anyone that may have seen anything or may have any information about this case please contact the First District Detectives Office at 202-299-2025 or the Command Information Center at 202-727-9099. We are in need of caring child care volunteers for upcoming events on Saturday, October 21st (in Washington, DC), and Saturday, November 4th (in Arlington, VA).
