“there are 4 or 5 different poles standing and have been there for months.”

“Dear PoPville,

All this construction on 14th has left a lot of intersections less safe, such as here at 14th and Florida where all the posts seem to be facing each other and the crosswalk indicator seems to be gone (?). Any news on when the old posts will be taken away and the new ones finalized (and pointed in the right direction) at these relatively high traffic intersections?

Definitely still a mess all up and down 14th with crosswalk signs at multiple locations obscured or turned the wrong way, in many cases due to the old traffic light poles not being removed yet (just covered with the burlap sacks). At this point the question I’m more curious about is, when are those supposed to be taken down? At some intersections (from Columbia Heights down to Thomas Circle) there are 4 or 5 different poles standing and have been there for months.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
