“learn from my mistake and change your airdrop setting to only receive from their contacts.”

“Dear PoPville,

I was riding home on the metro Friday afternoon when a guy sitting right next to me air dropped me a d*ck pic. It was so unsettling and traumatizing. But what I hated most was the feeling of helplessness – that I couldn’t defend myself because he could easily physically overpower me.

I spoke with MTPD Friday evening and they assigned me a case number. They said they were assigning to a Detective and would have him/her contact me, but I have yet to heard back. If nothing else, maybe other people can learn from my mistake and change their airdrop setting to only receive from their contacts.”

Ed. Note: Sadly this is not a new development. Back in March Dcist posted a similar air drop incident. Definitely a good reminder to change your settings. Because some people continue to be the worst.
