From a press release:

“District Taco, a popular fast-casual Mexican restaurant in the D.C. Metro area, is opening its second restaurant in the state of Maryland on July 1, 2019. The restaurant is located in The Blairs Shopping Center, on East West Highway. The restaurant, at 1310 East West Highway, will join Mamma Lucia, Giant Foods, CVS, and Peet’s Coffee among others in the shopping center.

This marks the second restaurant opening in Maryland for restaurateur Osiris Hoil and his rapidly growing restaurant chain. The company, which now employs more than 400 people and operates 13 locations throughout D.C, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, expects to expand with a restaurant in Abington, PA, and another Philadelphia location adding 100 employees to the company in 2019. From there, the restaurant chain plans to open multiple restaurants in 2020.

The Grand Opening for the Silver Spring location will be on Monday, July 1st at 12pm.

The first 100 customers in line will receive a District Taco goodie bag full of swag and a free meal. The first 14 in line will also receive a gift card for future purchases, to commemorate the opening of the 14th outlet. A portion of the day’s profits will go to Leveling the Playing Field, a local Silver Spring organization giving underprivileged children the opportunity to enjoy the mental and physical benefits of youth sports participation. “I am extremely passionate about fitness and activity, especially for kids,” Osiris adds. “LPF is doing great work in the community and we are happy to work with them as we celebrate our Silver Spring opening.” An avid cyclist, fitness plays an important role in the District Taco culture and the personal life of Osiris Hoil, making Leveling the Playing Field the perfect fit.

“We are so excited to open another restaurant in the state of Maryland, close our gap regionally, and create more jobs and opportunities in the area,” Osiris says. “Some of our biggest fans from the cart days in Arlington are people who work in NOVA or DC, but live in Montgomery County. We wouldn’t have been successful at the cart without them, so we’re excited to bring our delicious food right to their neighborhoods!”

Hoil and the District Taco team are excited for the opening of this second restaurant and are eager to bring the delicious food offering to a vibrant and rapidly expanding community. Offering a Yucatan style menu that includes seafood specials and all-day breakfast, the team is excited to see what is next for District Taco.

“Silver Spring is booming with new restaurants and shops opening every day. We are excited to be a part of this and hope that we will become a neighborhood favorite and an integral part of the community.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
