“This evening at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers from the First District responded to the 1500 block of 1st Street SW for the report of possible shots being fired. Once on scene, officers located several shell casings. While conducting this investigation, officers located a vehicle that had also been struck in the unit block of O St SW. At this time, there is no lookout.
The case is being actively investigated by First District Detectives. Investigators can be reached at (202) 299-2025, should you have any information about the incident. Alternatively, information can be forwarded to investigators by contacting the Metropolitan Police Department’s Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099.”
