My neighbor has a baseball sized hole in their roof which allows you to see directly into the second floor of their attached townhouse. They are lovely people but lower income and unable to repair the roof. I’m nervous about water seeping over onto my side and already have some evidence that it has. I’ve already spent a good amount of money from leaks coming into my house from my neighbor on the other side a few years ago and want to prevent it from happening again.
I’m curious what folks have done in this situation. Is there precedent to use constituent funds? Does DCRA have any recommendations?”
