Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet pink-nosed, pink-tongued Piglet! This 4-year-old, 76-lb. Lab mix is a high-energy pup, looking for an active home to call his own! Piglet is looking for a home where he will get plenty of exercise and training – he will make a great running partner, and has the smarts to do agility and tricks, but is in need of a strong pack leader to channel his energies. His foster mom says that he’s a great houseguest, who’s happy to sleep in his bed at night, but also thrilled to be invited to the couch for a snuggle session! Piglet earned his name from the adorable snorts he lets out when he’s happy – eating, being pet, having fun, taking a nap – snort! Piglet is a big personality, who needs to be the only pup, with an owner(s) committed to consistent exercise and training. Piglet loves his people and will make a great pet for the right home – is he your spring match? Find out more about adopting adorable, smiley Piglet here.

“Tiggers are cuddly fellas” – This Tigger lives up to that rep for sure. Four years old, Tigger found himself at a rural shelter in need of dental and other medical assistance – lucky for him, King Street Cats stepped in, and found him a great foster home where he was able to get the care and recovery time he needed! Now this handsome guy is ready to find a forever home, with a lap to warm. Tigger is a sweet and affectionate guy, who loves to sit on your lap and purr. He will listen to stories about your day, and has some stories of his own to share! Tigger is a mellow cat who gets along with other mellow cats, but our friend Tigger is *very* afraid of dogs, and needs to be in a home where no dogs are present. Tigger’s a snuggly survivor with a lot of love to share – find out more about adopting him (and see some more incredibly cute photos) here.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
