Speed Dating! (And All-Night Happy Hour) at Hex (above the Passenger) May 13th

“Dear PoPville,

I’m hosting an event in partnership with The Passenger that I think your readers might be interested in. It’s a trial run of a speed dating event being held at Hex [“Craft cocktails and small bites with an intimate, offbeat atmosphere.“], the new bar above The Passenger that opened a week ago. I got tired of paying $35 a pop to attend speed dating events and decided to try hosting one myself. Was lucky enough to get an awesome bar to partner with!”

DESCRIPTION: I’m a 30-year-old woman who lives in D.C. and is exhausted by online dating. I realized I knew a lot of people who’d be willing to try out a more social way to meet others, and Hex (The Passenger’s new upstairs bar) wanted to help bring the idea to life.

This event is for men and women ages 25-38. If this trial run goes well, there will be more events in the future for all sexualities and age groups, so stay tuned!

Come check out a brand-new D.C. bar, enjoy happy hour deals all night, and meet some wonderful people in the District!

COST: $5″

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
